Client Administration department members have an average tenure of 13 years with M Benefit Solutions, both an outstanding level in the industry and a reflection of our ability to provide knowledgeable and dependable administrative services to our clients over a long period of time. Our business approach is consultative rather than sales-oriented. Our goal is to help clients implement the most effective programs possible for attracting, retaining, and rewarding key executive talent from both a design and financing standpoint. A significant number of individuals in the organization have employee benefits backgrounds with such well-known consulting firms as Towers Watson, Aon Hewitt, and Mercer. A large number of our staff also have experience in accounting, actuarial science, law, and finance—all required disciplines for designing, implementing, and financing effective employee benefits and compensation programs.

SSAE 18 Compliance

At M Benefit Solutions, we are always striving for excellence. Our pursuit of excellence is reflected in the first-rate service we provide our clients. At M Benefit Solutions, we took it upon ourselves to initiate an independent audit that would thoroughly examine our internal structure so we may improve upon existing practices.

Our careful review of the provisions of Sarbanes-Oxley resulted in a corporate commitment to undergo external audits annually since 2003, providing a SAS 70 audit until 2010. In 2011, we underwent a SSAE 16, the successor to the SAS 70 audit until 2016, and in 2017, we underwent a SSAE 18, the successor to the SSAE 16.

This annual audit, based on the format outlined in the Statement on Standards for Attestation Engagements (SSAE) No. 18, is an in-depth review of our control activities including controls over information technology and processes which relate to the data belonging to our clients. In 2017, M Benefit Solutions received a clean opinion without exception on our SSAE 18 SOC I Type II report, an indication of our ongoing success in this area.
